Entry Fee: FREE Limited to 20 contestants on a first come first serve. Registration will close once the limit is reached or Tuesday, August 11th at 5pm; whichever comes first.

- 1st Place will receive $500
- 2nd Place will receive $250
- 3rd Place will receive $100
- People's Choice Award
Requirements:
- Contestants must cook 3 ground beef sliders (1 per judge) and their choice of beef or pork ribs (1 rib per judge).
- 20 People's Choice Tickets will be available to the public to purchase for judging. Contestants must provide enough samples for the 20 People's Choice judging. Selection of meat at contestants discretion.
Rules/Regulations:
- Arrival for set-up is between 7am-8am, Friday, August 14, 2026 at Gate 3 to place your grills.
- Food must be ready for judging at 4:30pm at the Barley Barn. No exceptions will be made.
- All contestants must have food handlers license from Umatilla County and submitted to the Fair Office prior to August 14th.
- Water will be provided close to the location of your grill. You will need to bring containers to haul water to your location.
- You must provide your own canopy or tent.
